iPhone 14

Pro and Pro Max models will have 8GB memory instead of the 6GB in the iPhone 12 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro models. Although the iPhone 13 was only recently released, there has been a lot of speculation about Apple’s future smartphone. According to a source, four new smartphones will be released by the Cupertino-based tech company in 2022. One of these would feature a 120Hz LTPO display. This news comes just days after LG announced that it had finished production of 120Hz LTPO LCD panels and received a large order from Apple.

Analysts had predicted that Apple would offer LTPO-based phones prior to the iPhone 13. All of that was not true. Apple-designed the technology and began integrating it into Apple Watch models starting with the Series 4 version. For the Apple Watch Series 5 and later models, the backplane is crucial to ensure that an Apple Watch Series 5 or subsequent models can provide an always-on display with no battery drain.

LTPO is now available in premium devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S21, OnePlus 9 Pro, and the OnePlus 9 Pro. These handsets use LTPO’s low power consumption to enable 120Hz refresh rates. If LTPO wasn’t used, Android smartphones that have such high refresh rates would quickly run out of battery life. Expert Jeff Pu says that Apple will use LTPO technology in all iPhone 14 models. Industry observers believe that the 60Hz screen will continue to be used by the iPhone 14 standard and the iPhone 14 Max, a more expensive successor to the iPhone 13 Mini.

Other rumors about the next iPhone generation claim that the higher-end models will feature a triple-lens rear camera system, which includes a 48MP wide lens and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. A 12MP telephoto lens is also included. Minc-Chi Kuo, an analyst at TF International Securities, said that the 48MP lens would allow video recording in 8K resolution. However, most people believe that the iPhone 14 would be available in four variants starting in September 2022.

There will be the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Max, 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, and 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. According to Pu, Pro and Pro Max devices will have 8GB memory instead of the 6GB in the iPhone 12 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro models.
